You can only truly hate someone you truly
love.
When you hate someone it's because you're
not getting what you want.
You think that by hating another you are
setting up a protective barrier against the
further
withdrawal of love, but it isn't so.
By hating another you are trying to protect
yourself from hurt.
Ask yourself when you are hating another,
who is feeling that hate?
Hating does not keep you from hurting.
Loving keeps you from hurting.
When you feel love for another, who feels the
love?
Hate causes the pathways of pain
to become deeper.
Hate isn't real.
Hate is camouflage designed to give you the
energy
to recover from a broken heart.
You are breaking your own heart by
not allowing yourself to love.
The secret to happiness is to let yourself
love
no matter what.
You CAN love without being a victim
of another's manipulations.
You CAN love and NOT invite another back
into your physical life.
Loving another serves YOU.
Love is a decision you make.
You CAN love unconditionally and still
have physical boundaries.
You might as well give yourself permission to
experience love, because love
is underneath the hatred
anyway.
